3rd Annual AvGeek Breakfast 2015
3rd Annual Aviation Geek Breakfast 2015
Open breakfast to all #AVGeeks attending Aviation Geek Fest 2015.
Saturday February 21st, Starting at 8:00am - 10:00am
Mukilteo's Speedway Cafe
11707 Mukilteo Speedway
Mukilteo, WA 98275
425.347.2000
***Updated Information as of February 14th, at 8:00 am Pacific Standard Time***
We're full!!! Thank you so much for your overwhelming support we now have 50 people registered to attend the breakfast! I don't want to take any more people for fear of there not being enough space in the restaurant to sit as well as time to eat before the area aerial attractions open.
Here's some brief instructions for attending the breakfast.
1. When you arrive at the Mukilteo's Speedway Cafe, be sure to inform the restaurant staff that you're with the aviation party. They'll take you to the back part of the restaurant to eat. Feel free if you're just by yourself to join a table that just has one other, or a table of three. We're all pretty friendly.
2. Myself(Isaac Alexander), will be scarfing down my food as quickly as possible, and then I'll be going from table to table to visit everyone that's attending. Towards the end of the breakfast, I plan to make a few words to everyone there. We'll be giving a small prize to the person who's traveling the furthest for coming to the meal. Last year we had someone from Melbourne Australia attend.
3. Please after we're there at the restaurant to thank the staff there. They're going out of their way to make sure we have a great time there.
4. Be ready for a FUN FANTASTIC WEEKEND!
The AVGeek Breakfast is becoming quite the tradition during Aviation Geek Fest. It's a chance to get charged up for the day with good food and great company. Nothing better to start the weekend festivities then to share a meal with fellow aviation enthusiasts from across the globe. Last years breakfast was truly special too as we had our first Australian attend. It's fantastic to know that the love of aviation is truly global.
For the breakfast, please provide me with a RSVP by February 17th if you plan to attend and how many are in your party. It’s open to anyone attending Aviation Geek Fest as well as Aviation Geeks who aren't. I want to give the restaurant as much heads up as possible as to how many people plan to be there. Last years breakfast had over 40 people. I expect it to increase again this year. RSVP by contacting me via email at jetcitystar10@gmail.com with the subject line AVGeek Breakfast or by Twitter at @JetCityStar. Here's a list listed alphabetically by last name of who I have so far as of Wednesday January 27th. I will update this page every couple days with new names attending.
